and just like that...
Well friends, it's been a long while since I've been in this space. An entire summer to be exact. Last post I shared with you was from our cousin's flat in Brooklyn - and my has much changed.
To start, our house is under complete renovation. White, grays, irons, woods, honeycombs to name a few of the changes. When things settle a bit, I promise to show you around.
This past week we celebrated my 25th birthday. Yes, 25. Quarter of a century. We spent the evening tucked away at a local romantic Italian spot. Compliments to Gabriel for the outstanding selection and compliments to the chef for the divine cuisine. Thank you to all my friends and family who wished me a happy birthday. It truly means the world to me!
You may or may not have see me post about Gabriel's upcoming missions trip to Cuba. Yes, Cuba. If you know anything about my husband, you should know that his heart literally bleeds for Cuba. He is the first generation of his family to be born in the states. To read more about his decision to serve abroad or to help support this cause, please visit here. We genuinely appreciate all the help we have received thus far and pray the Lord will continue to provide for this trip.
Our small but mighty paper co is rocking away. It's incredible how we are already in the busiest wedding season of the year! Last time I checked, 2015 was just getting started. Anyway, fall is the busiest time for us in the IBA world with many October - December brides. I keep having to reminding myself that there are only 24 hours in a day. The rest will get done tomorrow.
Next month Gabriel will hit the big 3-0 and boy have I been bothering him about it! It's so fun to forever be the younger one :)
Now that beach vacations and summer plans are winding down, this girl is ready to tackle the fall months ahead of her of expectantly wait for 2016.
Friends, here goes... the big news that has been keeping me away from blogging (partly because of my first trimester sickness and partly because we wanted to keep it to ourselves for a while) is...we are going to be parents!! Gabriel and I are so overjoyed with the news and are trying hard to prepare everything before this little sweet baby comes into our life.
Advice? Suggestions on preparing for a new baby? Must have items? Life savers? We want to hear it all! Please share..
So - even though I've been gone for a while, the silence won't last, I promise. I am back and it feel good!
P.S The next Dadeland West Elm Wedding Pop Up Shop is set to be held Sept. 16 from 6-9. There will be some amazing vendors there!!! Spread the news to any brides you know! The event is sure to not disappoint!
