Every Print Has A Story

Have I ever mentioned my love for creating custom prints? It usually goes a little something like this.

Client - "Hi Erica,  lately I've been dealing with (blah, blah, blah) and want a print created as a reminder of all I've overcome through this trying time."

or "Erica, I am renovating my office and want to bring meaning and life to my space."

or my favorite "Erica, my husband and I are expecting twins and want meaningful, delicate scriptures poured on the walls to remind our babies how much we love them."

All have a story. Personal + unique. All a reason as to why they want their words on display. What an honor it is to be in their story.  Thank you friends for including me in YOUR stories. What a treasure!

Happy Thursday!

A Countryside Getaway

Yesterday, I shared my

thoughts

on the the beautiful nature Miami has to offer. Most people equate Miami with her beautiful beaches, fast paced lifestyle and trendy fashion...but my friend, I am here to tell you there is so much more!

Over the past four years of living in this very developed city, I have grown to truly love it. My advice to any newcomer is always the same - if you get lucky enough to find your "niche" in this big ol' place, the city will become smaller, and you may never want to leave.

....

This weekend, Gabriel and I took my in-love's south, to a glorious tropical countryside known as "The Redlands", formerly a part of

Everglades National Park

. During the early 1900's this area of land was drained to make way for new construction and farmland. If you ever make your way to the southern tip of Florida, make sure to stop at a plant nursery + edible garden or two along the way!

Favorite Spots:

Out The Window

Last week, I hiked my way down to the Everglades for a total of four times and I'm about ready to move there! Seriously. It could just be the picture perfect weather getting to my brain, but there is something about the peace and quiet surrounding the outdoors that seems so dreamy and surreal.

Lately, I've had a unexplainable appreciate for nature and God's majestic creation. I can't get enough of it, really.

I'm sure it's a sign of getting old.

Happy Monday, friends.  May you have the chance to walk outside today and notice our creator's work.  Surely it will kick the mundane out of this Monday!

P.S I'd love for you to share what you see out your window today.
