Well, we are all done registering! The whole process was amazing, but definitely more work than we imagined!
We registered at Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma and Macy's. If you are interested in seeing some of the items we chose, you can visit our wedding website.
Before we went, we had an idea of what we needed, but once we got there, we were lost. Luckily, my fiance and I have the same style so it was easy picking things out like table linens, towels, bed sheets etc. The not so easy part came into play at the fine china section. We compromised.
By far, my favorite store was Pottery Barn. It has always been on the top of my list, and getting to spend 4 straight hours there made my weekend. Aside from Pottery Barn, Macy's provided us with a very nice experience too. I wasn't expecting a lot from Macy's, but when we got there, they handed us Godiva and a goody bag filled with lots of treats! How can you not like that??
If you are planning on registering anytime soon, I would recommend having a clear idea of housewares you will be needing ahead of time. Knowing how many wash clothes, pillows and plates will cut your registering time in half.
Overall, the experience was great and I loved using the scanner. I did leave all of the scanning up to my fiance though, in case I accidentally deleted the entire list. I totally would do that sort of thing! So while he was scanning, I was dreaming & planning! Exactly what I do best!
Now that the registering is over, we are off to do the next thing on the list: Complete Wedding Invitations!! I can't wait to share them with you! We have been working really hard & I think you are going to love them!
Sweet Day!
