happy birthday {dad}

This weekend, we visited my parent's {in Tampa} & celebrated dad's early birthday.

My dad is a plant lover.

Here is the peace lily my fiance and I surprised him with.

My {future} in laws got him an orchid. His first ever.. and yes, he is a bit nervous with the upkeep.

:: Growing up, I did not really care about plants ::
 Now - I can't wait to grow my own garden.

I am glad I can share this newly found hobby with dad.

Oh yeah & my dad is a bit of a health nut.. so we decided to spoil him.

My sister & I woke up early Sunday morning and baked cinnamon buns.

Later this week I will blog the recipe! mhhm mhhm.

He loved them - along with his cafe con leche {made by my fiance}.

In conclusion, the early birthday weekend was a success.
