HF4F: Best of Australia & Hawaii

I've decided to join in on High Five For Friday! It's been a while...

I couldn't be happier that the weekend is here! Some things we have going on this weekend include: a weekly steak & wine date night, couch time watching the masters, coffee with mom in law, cuddles with our nephew, church, invitation orders and a few house projects.

Instead of showing you my top 5 moments from this week, I thought it'd be more interesting to show you the Top 5 moments from our last week trip:

1. Seeing the Sydney Opera House up close and personal
2. Hiking through the Blue Mountains
3. Seeing wild kangaroo
4. Holy island of Oahu! Breathtaking!
5. The Taranga Zoo in Manly - exotic animals + best view of the city

Hope you have a great weekend! Monday, I'll be sharing my newest breakfast fad with you.  It has been holding my appetite way past lunch (which that is a HUGE deal for this snacker over here)!
And if you didn't have a chance to snag my free Easter printable, go grab it.

Bondi Beach, Australia

Since back from Australia, I've been constantly asked what my favorite part was - and to be honest that question is tough. There were so many beautiful parts of Australia and we just explored a tiny part of it. The country is huge, vibrant, lush and so full of energy!

While in Sydney, we had the pleasure of staying with my good friend Abby and got to know the lay of the land through her adorable Aussie boyfriend, Alex. Of all the places we went together, there was one place in particular I'll never forget.

-Let me introduce you to Bondi Beach-

Bondi is a suburb located just south of Sydney. While in Bondi,  you will find bicyclists riding along the coast, dog lovers strolling on the Bondi to Bronte walk, children splashing and surfers in the very cold, COLD water. After our day trip to Bondi, Alex and Abby took us to a local spot on the beach for lunch where we got to relax, watch some aussie rules (it's their version of football) and chat the afternoon away!

A Cheery Easter Printable

Wow is this year flying by or what?! We left for vacation on what seemed to be the beginning of March and have now returned to the middle of spring. But one things for sure, I'm eager to get back into a healthy routine after all the delicious vacation food. But isn't that the best part of going away? Getting off your routine and splurging? Yes, I think so!

This week I have a bunch planned for you- I will share details from our Australian vacation and will also be sharing my newest breakfast routine. Stay tuned!

In the meantime, I designed an Easter printable (using images from JDC) for you to enjoy!

A Quick Aloha!

Greeting from Oahu!

We are in the midst of slowly making our way home from the land down under and decided to take a quick few day stop in Hawaii. I've always wanted to visit this island but was always weary of the 10 hour flight over, especially since we live so close to the beach.

But let me tell you, it is worth it - living near the beach or not! The views are spectacular, the beaches are pristine, and the breeze is so refreshing.

I can't wait to get back and share all about our adventures soon- Have a great rest of the week!

Going Down Under

Tomorrow we embark on the biggest trip of our lives thus far. Australia! We are beyond excited and ready for the adventure together. Currently, we are in the midst of last minute hoopla: aka- packing, cleaning, dealing with travel arrangements, all sorts fun stuff.

I will do my very best to create lists of the best spots in town while we are out! Have a great weekend and enjoy the first few days of spring!
