I've decided to dedicate one day a week to share all of my wedding goodies with you! Wedding advice, inspiration, diy projects, invitations- doesn't it just all sound so fun?! I thought so too! So, if you are in the process of planning a wedding or just want to come along for the ride, make sure to check in every Wednesday!
Our Front Door
I love front doors. They are the first thing I notice when I drive by a house. Red, black, yellow, glass, wood-they are just so welcoming!
With that being said, we've have been busy decorating our door since the move in. Here is the progression:
a) first month in the house. very 1958
b) new door (hurricane resistant)
c) new door + temporary shade
...and then came yesterday, when the greatest things happened to the door!!!!
c) new door + plantation shutter
(me being a peeping tom while it was being installed)
Well, what do you think? Our front door has been through a lot these past 6 months, huh?!
I hope you have a sweet & blessed day!

Weekend Recap
This weekend, Gabriel and I planned to not plan anything (mixed in with prepping our house for the upcoming renovation.)
I would have to say, accomplishing the first goal is a lot more fun than accomplishing the second! Anyway, we pretty much packed up one side of our house and moved it to the other side, purchased the tile, browsed through nadeu, went grocery shopping, went to Saturday night service, sorted through tons of paper piles & took down our tree (are we the only ones who still had it up??? undecorated of course!)
We also got these new babies....and did about 50 loads! We are loving our new front loaders. More on why we decided to go with front loaders later this week.
We even had a chance to fit in some snuggling, vacation planning, movies (in which I fell asleep during both, sorry babe!) and had lots of coffee and tacos (not together though).
Phewwwwww. Good thing I have today off! I will be spending it folding, packing up more stuff and studying for a certification test I have coming up at the end of the week!
How will you be spending your MLK day?

Where I Work
Last year, I was so blessed to have the opportunity to start working for Westminster Christian School and to build many relationships that mean so much. I love going to work everyday! Yes of course, there is no such thing as a perfect place, but from the teachers, to the kids, to the parents, and to the admin, they are all such a joy to be around. But most of all, it's so amazing being able to teach & share our faith together whenever we want.
Here is a video my school put together of the new elementary school they are building for next year.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”Matthew 19:14

House Renovations Under Way!
We spoke with the contractor yesterday, and were told that installation of floors, baseboards, and moldings will begin by the end of next week!
I can't wait!!
For now, we might be buried in paint, boxes and dust until all is clear. Living through construction really isn't bad if you keep the final project in mind! Right?! ;)
